Football & Cheer for the athletes of small towns in
the California Central Valley & Motherlode Foothills
The Motherlode
Valley Football League (MVFL) is a Volunteer Organization
created to serve the families of small towns in the
California Central Valley & surrounding Foothills. The
MVFL promotes youth football and cheer with the intent of
providing a
competitive and organized program for student athletes between
the ages of 6-14. Our league strives to give these youth
the opportunity to play football and cheer in a controlled
environment with an emphasis on safety, sportsmanship and
teamwork.
The MVFL Football
program is open to ages 6-14.
Football players will be placed on teams based on age, weight,
and experience according to the MVFL Age/Weight Chart in
the Rules & Regulations.
Please be aware that sometimes friends will not be placed
on a team together.
It is mandatory for all members of the MVFL to adhere to
the established Age/ Weight chart.

The MVFL Cheer
program is open to ages 5-14. Participants are placed into
spirit squads, assigned to a football team and will cheer
at their football games.
The associated football team is usually the same age. Cheerleaders
will cheer at all regular season games and at playoffs should
any team advance.
